Forza Motorsport 3 will hit the asphalt of North America on October 27th, according to a press release sent out by Microsoft. The game's getting a special Limited Collector's Edition version too, which gives up some exclusive Turn 10 tuned-and-painted cars plus VIP membership status.

Bryn says: I'm not really sure how much better these car models can get. I mean, take a look at the screens -- they look amazingly real. I suppose if we were being sticklers for realism, we'd want the game to feature real-time deformation for crashes, but I'll take some pristine indestructible motors any day for this kind of racing sim.

The LCE is pretty nice, and I'm tempted to lay out the cash now.
