The who's who of Hollywood descended on the Hawaiian island of Kauai to celebrate Australian magazine editor Laura Brown's nuptials to comedian Brandon Borror-Chappell on Sunday.

Laura, 47, who is the former editor of InStyle magazine, and her longtime boyfriend, 31, exchanged vows during an outdoor ceremony at The Club at Kukuiʻul, surrounded by A-list actors, models and fashion industry favourites.

Among the star-studded guest list was Australian acting royalty Naomi Watts and partner of five years, actor Billy Crudup.

'This is was what you call a WEDDING that we all needed!!' Naomi captioned an Instagram photo of herself at the nuptials on Sunday. 

'The pandemic created a major delay but that just meant it was well worth waiting for,' she continued, adding: 'We adored the romance, found the light, bum-rushed the dance floor, over ate and drank, and we don't regret any of it.' 

'Congratulations to the beautiful couple. May your love grow stronger with each year. Thank you for creating such a memorable experience. #loverules'.

Fellow Australian actress Rose Byrne also attended the festivities alongside her partner Bobby Cannavale, while supermodel Miranda Kerr was spotted in the crowd wearing Monique Lhuillier and with her husband Evan Spiegel. 

Other celebrities in attendance included Australian actress Bella Heathcote and Hollywood glamazons Brooke Shields, Michelle Pfeiffer, Kate Bosworth and Jessica Alba. 

American actor Justin Long and American TV reporter Katie Couric were also spotted in the crowd.

Around 230 friends and family travelled to Hawaii from across the globe to attend Laura and Brandon's highly-anticipated wedding, which had previously been postponed for three years due to the Covid pandemic.  

Eschewing bridal gown tradition, Laura sported a breathtaking, soft pink ballgown down the aisle complete with a matching pink veil. 

Laura's off-the-shoulder frock was custom made by Valentino, and featured a full skirt, tie waist detailing and even a set of pockets.

A bouquet of hot pink tropical flowers completed her playful wedding day look. 

Sharing details about her gown on Instagram, Laura cooed: 'My beautiful, singularly gifted friend [Valentino designer Pierpaolo Piccioli] first sketched my @maisonvalentino wedding dress in January 2020. He made sure it had pockets. Pierpaolo, I love you with all my heart. Thank you.' 

Brandon, who has been dating Laura since 2016, sported a sleek black suit and matching bow-tie.

The event rollicked into the night, with a performer keeping guests entertained with a fire twirling routine. 

Brandon previously wrote an editorial for Refinery29 in January 2017 regarding the 16-year age gap between himself and Laura.

'Every time we go out to a nice dinner or stay in a beautiful hotel, I try to remember: I haven't earned this life yet,' he wrote at the time. 

'I am reminded of this when I call down to concierge and am greeted with a 'Bonjour, Mr. Brown,'' he added, explaining he does 'what I can to contribute' in their relationship.

Laura was born and raised in Australia, before relocating to New York City in September 2001, where she carved out a stellar career for herself in magazines. 

Laura's previous roles include executive director at Harper's Bazaar magazine, senior editor at W magazine and articles editor at men's magazine Details. 

She was also editor-in-chief of American InStyle until February, when the magazine announced they were ceasing to publish a print format, opting to go all-digital.
