it works on both but the intel version only works for them

Can i install on oracle virtualbox or VMware?

Compatible with Intel iMac 5,1 / A1207 (Late 2006) via the 10.4.5 ISO file.

Installation notes: Please make sure to disable installation of bundled software as this is incompatible and / or will ask for Disc 2, which is NOT included with this download. There will be a screen indicating a disc 2 should be ready — when you see this screen, click Customise and make sure to untick the box for the 9.9GB~ bundled software.

Important: AirPort drivers will not be installed by default! To install AirPort drivers, run Software Update. You can still connect to the Internet via Ethernet and other wired methods as-normal (if connecting a cable doesn't work instantly, reboot the iMac). Software Update will also allow you to upgrade to 10.4.11. You should run Software Update several times to ensure you get all the security updates available.

The ISO installed, so high rating it gets. I hope the above notes are helpful should others try installing to late-2006 iMacs (or maybe even other iMacs).
