• Emily Blunt just hit the red carpet in London for her new movie, Oppenheimer, decked out in a cool dress that featured a cut-out in the front.
  • It was hard to miss how super-strong the actress' abs and arms were in photos from the event.
  • Emily hasn't shared a ton about her workout routines, but she has previously done a lot of hard training with Monique Eastwood.

ICYMI, it’s an exciting time to be a movie buff! Not one, but *two* epic movies are premiering in theaters next week: First up is Barbie, followed by another cult fave, Oppenheimer. Of course, you can also make it a double feature ("Barbenheimer" as the kids are calling it) and hit both in one go.

And with so much hubbub around the films comes a lot of fun red carpet moments. Trust me, the stars are definitely bringing their A-game, whether they're at an event in Manhattan or overseas in London. This week, all eyes were on Emily Blunt, who stars in the new Oppenheimer film. The actress made a stunning showing on the red carpet in London, where she looked stronger and more confident than ever.

In pics from the event, Emily was wearing a shimmering black gown with a plunging neckline that showed off her super strong abs. The dress turned to a fringe at the top of Emily’s thighs, giving a peak at her strong legs as well!

Here's a peek of the iconic dress, in case you haven't been keeping up with all the red carpet appearances lately:

While Emily doesn’t share a ton about her fitness routine online, it’s safe to say that she works hard to be super-strong (see: rock-hard abs). And she doesn’t shy away from challenging and compelling acting roles. Case in point: The action film Edge of Tomorrow, which premiered back in 2014, and which Emily prepped for with help from her trainer, per Women’s Health UK. Emily’s trainer, Monique Eastwood, had a big job making sure the actress was strong enough to do her own stunts. The two began working in tandem for this film role, and have been together ever since.

Eastwood said Emily’s workouts involve an hour of non-stop moment, and are based on her own EMM (Eastwood Movement Method) classes. During a typical week, Emily does four sessions of a mixture of HIIT and bodyweight moves. One of those sessions might include a resistance band for an “added challenge,” per Eastwood. A different session might focus on ballet-style moves, which are more precise and controlled, targeting small muscle movements.

Emily also stretches a ton to make sure that her body recovers properly from all her workouts, her trainer shared.

While Emily is sure to dazzle in Oppenheimer, she plans to take some downtime after she finishes prompting the film. In an interview on July 13, she told Deadline, “I’m just taking a little downtime. I’m not quitting Hollywood. I just was taking some months off to be with the kids,” she said. Good for you, Emily!

And I, for one, can't wait to see this movie. Barbenheimer anyone?
