A 12-foot tall puppet will walk through Cincinnati Friday to spread awareness of the stories of refugees, immigrants and the communities around them.Little Amal, a 12-foot puppet of a 10-year-old Syrian Regufee girl, has been traveling across 13 countries, and this fall, she's traveling across the United States.She will walk through Cincinnati and visit with people to share stories of refugees, immigrants, and displaced people and the communities that welcome them.The visit will take place Friday from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. in downtown Cincinnati. Several groups in Cincinnati, including ArtsWave, The Carnegie, Cincinnati Arts Association, Cincinnati Hamilton County Public Library and more, have been hosting workshops leading up to the event.
