Capcom announced today that Hugh Hefner's iconic girlie mag will turn up in Dead Rising 2. And the adult publication won't just be part of the scenery.
The original Dead Rising, released in 2006 for the Xbox 360, was a third-person adventure that forced players to struggle for survival in a zombie-infested mall. In the first game, players could pick up different books they discovered and carry them around to earn stat buffs.
In Dead Rising 2, magazines will do the same work. And Playboy will, on the strength of its articles and potency of its pictorials, grant players a similar bonus.
