With the Halo: Reach open beta finally over, Xbox gamers can set their sights on September.

Bungie said today that Halo: Reach will be coming to store shelves in the United States on September 14. Japan gets the game on September 15.

Halo: Reach, an Xbox 360 exclusive, is the fifth game in the long-running and wildly sucessful series of action-packed first-person shooters about space marines fending off the advances of ticked-off aliens called the Covenant.

When September rolls around, fans will have the option of nabbing a standard edition of the game for around $60 or doubling down on two special editions that will run $80 and $150. The latter will include a 10-inch statue produced by McFarlane Toys.
