Kristen Bell is an actor, producer, activist and Global Advocate of the United Nations Women’s Peace & Humanitarian Fund (WPHF). WPHF mobilizes and channels flexible and quality funding and capacity support to women peacebuilders, humanitarians and human rights defenders across the globe. Ms. Bell has partnered closely with WPHF since 2018 to advocate on behalf of women civil society leaders working on the front lines of conflict and crisis to build a more peaceful, inclusive and gender-equal world.

Since its establishment in 2016, WPHF has supported over 1,000 civil society organizations in 41 countries, directly impacting the lives of over 4.4 million people (73% of whom are women and girls) and reaching over 31 million people, while contributing to Sustainable Development Goals 5 (Gender Equality) and 16 (Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions). Through its Invest-In-Women Global Campaign, WPHF is calling on the world to mobilize USD 300 Million to scale up financing for frontline women’s groups by the end of 2025.

A committed humanitarian and fierce advocate for women’s rights, Ms. Bell’s prolific career spans movies and critically acclaimed television shows like Veronica Mars, Frozen, Bad Moms, Forgetting Sarah Marshall and The Good Place. Ms. Bell is a recipient of the Critics’ Choice #SeeHer Award, which recognizes women who push boundaries in changing stereotypes and highlighting the importance of authentic portrayals of women across the entertainment landscape.
