It’s a happy time for Twilight actor Kellan Lutz, who confirmed his engagement to Brittany Gonzales while making an appearance on Steve. The news came out rather casually while Kellan was chatting with host Steve Harvey but it was clear that he's totally been on cloud nine.
At one point in the interview, Steve mentions that he actually knows Brittany from back in the day and Kellan’s response is so casual but so cute. “I heard that your fiancée worked in the audience department on Family Feud in Atlanta,” Steve told the actor.
Kellan replied, “Yup.” He didn’t remain too tight-lipped, thankfully, going on to say that Brittany is “the light of my life.” On top of that, he had had a message from Brittany to pass along. He said, “She told me so much about you ... She wanted to come and give you guys the biggest hug, she had the best time on the show."
Kellan and Brittany, a TV host and model, have been together for a while now and while they’ve fairly quiet about their relationship publicly, they can’t help but share their love and support for one another on their Instagram accounts. In December 2016, Kellan wrote a deeply personal note to go along with a photo of he and Brittany holding hands. In the note, he expressed his gratitude and happiness that she had come into his life: “Over a year ago, in a season of being single, I wrote a letter to God with all the qualities I truly wanted in my future wife,” he wrote. “I stayed strong, I pressed in, I fixed some things I didn't know I needed to fix and after a period of prayer, patience, and perseverance, He brought her into my life in the most beautiful of ways. I now know what true love looks like! I knew it the moment I saw her.”
