Talk about ✨cosmic timing✨

Joe Jonas confessing that he popped himself on stage four years ago was not on our 2023 bingo cards, but now that we have this information, it's just a reminder that celebs aren't much different from the rest of us. "I was with a few friends yesterday, and we were just talking about [how] there is a point in your life where, as an adult, you can remember the last time you sh*t your pants," said Joe after being asked to share a story that he's never told anyone before.

He spilled the details of his embarrassing moment during an interview on KIIS FM radio show Will & Woody in Australia. "Let's just say it was a bad day to choose to wear white clothing," the Jonas Brothers star said. "You think it might be a little toot; it might've been a little something else, a little something extra. So it was like a mid-wardrobe sh*t change during the set. That's a story I've never told, [but] also that's just real life."

Joe added that there is actual footage of the show where the incident took place somewhere "in the archives." It shows Joe wearing a different outfit mid-show. "There is a wardrobe change halfway through the show, and it was maybe a little bit like, 'Oh, that was an interesting choice to change clothes that quickly.'"

Joe has never been one to take himself too seriously, saying that he's able to laugh at the accident now. "It's fresh, but I've been able to work through it, a lot of therapy," he joked. At the time, though, he says he was convinced someone would notice his onstage oopsie. "The whole time, I thought this is definitely, somebody is going to be able to see this and know what is happening, but it was all in my head," he said. "It was a light one, it wasn't a full, so I was able to tell the tale," he also joked. Thanks for the details, Joe.

"It wasn't as big of a deal as I thought," Joe ended up admitting. "But such is life. It has happened to many artists. I feel like I've paid my dues, and I feel like I'm a part of some secret club now." For now, the club includes Joe Jonas and, as noted by People, also Ed Sheeran, who revealed a similar story during a 2015 interview in Dublin. Speaking to Nova Red Room, he admitted he "misjudged a fart that ended up being a shart."

Although these stories are not the overshare we asked for, we're glad the artists can laugh about it in hindsight. Hey, if you don't poop, you're the one with a problem, after all!
