The music industry is understandably still mourning the loss of legendary singer George Michael, who passed away in December 2016. Yet while Adele paid tribute to the icon at the 2017 Grammy awards, it's Scream Queens's Colton Haynes who will honor him next.

Colton is set to make his live singing debut for Michael, according to E News!. (The actor has released covers, including Josh Groban's "You Raise Me Up" and country music duo Dan + Shay's "19 You+Me," and also dropped his Christmas original "Baby It's Christmas" with fellow singer Travis-Atreo back in 2013.)

The bittersweet occasion will be part of VH1 Save The Music's Gotta Have Faith tribute for the legendary singer in New York City. "I'm just so excited to be a part of this because I've been a fan since I was a kid and he's such an iconic inspiration to so many people and never strayed away from his own sound and being himself and that's so admirable," Colton told the network. "He's made so many people feel deep emotion through his music, myself included, and to be a part of this incredible night is truly an honor."

There's no word on exactly what his set will be like, but with all that heart and passion behind his performance, we guarantee it's going to be unforgettable. The event will take place on April 24 in the city's Highline Ballroom and you can get tickets at the venue's website.
