Audience Member More of the first season. If low polish soap dramas are your thing, this might not even be for you. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member I think this may be the best television series I've ever seen. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member This series is awful. What do people see? Rated 1 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review justin h Season 2 is absolutely fabulous. I LOVE this show! Characterisation is superb with will real depth and substance to all the main characters. This show has such an authentic feel to it and that applies to the roles, the neighborhood and the story. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Audience Member This show just gets better and better. The first season was great and amazing but the second is richer in all the right places. The second season flawlessly covers numerous topics including gentrification, LGBT discourse, etc but what I love most is how we're able to further explore our protagonists, Lyn and Emma, more on a deeper level. I'm glad we were able to see some vulnerable moments from Emma. We not used to see that from her but that's what makes her my favorite character. It'll take some time but that's a journey I can't wait to explore/see. Can't wait to get more out of them both in the next season! Character development in this is so rewarding to see. These characters are just so intriguing to watch and the actors who play them are just simply astonishing. I binged the second season a few days ago and haven't thought about anything else since. I will happily and proudly scream from the rooftops that everyone should watch this show because it's that fucking good! This show deserves so much attention. I'm not Latino (I'm black) but I appreciate this show so much and am so happy it exists. STARZ RENEW THE DAMN SHOW!!...please. and to Tanya Saracho and the writer's room, YOU ARE BRILLIANT! releasing the whole season to binge was bittersweet. I WANT MORE! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member I've got the chili sweats. My wife says "It's about time they showed a wiener ( in a movie)." Can these Latina sisters put a bridel on the heat and conquer the business world ? Based on the amount of liquor they give away down at the bar, I dunno. Can I have cebolla on my taco please ? No cilantro. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Carmen Phillips Autostraddle Here Vida rises to its own incredibly high standards, weaving together narratives of race and class that are nuanced and delicate. Oct 28, 2021 Full Review Alan Sepinwall Rolling Stone There was suddenly a lot going on, all of it smart, much of it sexy with a solid mix of pathos and humor... Vida had ceased to be an interesting world in search of a TV show, and come into its own. Sep 12, 2019 Full Review Lauren Carroll Harris Guardian There's nothing else in the TV landscape quite like this hypersexual, celebratory show -- in its embrace of Hispanic soapiness in a millennial English-speaking story, and in its dedication to female fantasy. Jul 19, 2019 Full Review Brian T. Carney Washington Blade The acting is superb and the writing is sharp. The nuanced exploration of female empowerment and sexuality is fascinating and powerful.
