a a This movie had a huge impact on my childhood. It gave me hope and inspiration as a young person. There's nothing like a film featuring an 80s animated icon to pump up children's emotions and show them that anything is possible! Just believe in yourself and do what's right! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/24/24 Full Review B G This movie is nostalgia gold! So many fun characters, catchy songs and a decent plot. This franchise is just waiting for a re-boot! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/13/24 Full Review Brooke H Classic!! Magical and well done for and old movie! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 08/05/23 Full Review Erin I lived this movie as a kid and I still love to watch it with my kids. It was magical and sweet. It has good lessons and friendship. I wanted her horse rainbow so bad! Still a classic good childhood memory. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/24/23 Full Review ROLY GAMER CUBANO 0%? Really RT? and 80% score in the public? Saban in The music Chalopin in the Direction it is that bad? come on!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 12/30/22 Full Review Alakazella e Loved this movie as a kid and still as a adult I still love it. The movie is about... 1 hour 24 minutes. The movie is about Rainbow Brite and the Dark Princess. The movie brings in other characters from the show. Murky, Lurky , Brian, Krys, Stormy. The movie has a message of how one thing can effect so many people. How the princess is so hell bent on getting what she wants. Rainbow is put in so many battles. She is not only dealing with the Dark Princess but also dealing with Murky and Lurky. Then also dealing with Krys who thinks boys after better then girls. Another message letter then girls can be just and good as boys. Krys learning later that he needs Rainbow Brite. Not only since he doesn't have any magic or powers. As Rainbow bright gives Krys a "Prism" a device that uses her rainbow to give Krys the power to shoot a freezing beam and heat beam. Krys learns they have to work together to defeat their enemies. The ending is kind of dark for a kids show. Just that more satisfying. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/16/22 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Robert Blau Chicago Tribune Rainbow Brite and the Star Stealer is not an especially imaginative tale, and the animation is at times lifeless. Rated: 2/4 Mar 26, 2013 Full Review Michael Blowen Boston Globe So incompetently crafted that it makes the Saturday-morning cartoons seem like Disney classics. Mar 18, 2013 Full Review Janet Maslin New York Times Wherever she goes, she leaves a rainbow trail. As a matter of fact, the film has rainbows everywhere. I stopped counting at 247 or so. Rated: 1/5 May 20, 2003 Full Review Tim Brayton Antagony & Ecstasy An exemplar of the state of children animation from that era if I ever saw one. Not a compliment, that. Rated: 3/10 Dec 4, 2016 Full Review Renee Schonfeld Common Sense Media Noisy, subpar cartoon adventure with lots of peril. Rated: 1/5 Jun 17, 2014 Full Review TV Guide The animation is wretched, and the whole thing is so sickly sweet as to be almost nauseating. Rated: 1.5/4 Mar 18, 2013 Full Review Read all reviews
