      Lee W Nostalgia is strong in this movie. The underlying story is a tad convoluted, but still very entertaining. Like me, if you watch it in spanish, it will trigger far more memories. I'm fairly close to 60yo, and this movie made me feel like I was 10yo again. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/12/24 Full Review Guillermo P If you grew up with Mazinger Z this is not a 5/5, it is a 6/5. I don't know how to put myself in the shoes of someone who didn't grow up watching Mazinger Z, so everything I say here is from the perspective of a big Mazinger fan. Watch this movie! It is honestly about as perfect as it could be, it takes all the original characters and pushes them into the future and we get to see believable future versions of the characters we grew up watching. The visuals are better than ever, and the music is still as great as it ever was! The characters have developed a lot since the original series, they are much older and savvy, but their original personalities still come through. Koji is still a little unpredictable, Sayaka and Koji still have their issues and Boss... Well, he's just Boss but a bit more mature and with real responsibilities.
