As the summer winds down, so has Michelle Rodriguez and Zac Efron’s fast and furious romance.

After nearly two months of hot-and-heavy hookups, they’ve decided to part ways, reports Us Weekly.

“Michelle is going to do her own thing,” a source said. “Zac knew this about her when he got with her.”

Another insider said their split came after the pair got into a big fight while in Ibiza, Spain.

“He’s very into her, though,” the source added. “And perhaps more than she’s into him.”

The “Fast & Furious” star is no stranger to breaking hearts. She recently had a whirlwind and very public romance with model Cara Delevingne before starting her love affair with Efron. She’s also been tied to franchise co-star Vin Diesel and Olivier Martinez before he married Halle Berry.

“I do as I please,” Rodriguez, 36, told Entertainment Weekly in October. “I am too f–king curious to sit here and not try when I can. Men are intriguing. So are chicks.”

“Zac still wants to be with her,” the insider told Us.

The 26-year-old “Neighbors” star and Rodriguez were first spotted together during a fun-filled Italy getaway over the Fourth of July holiday. Aboard a yacht, the duo packed on the PDA without a care in the world. Their makeout sessions continued when they were nabbed locking lips during a horseback ride in Sardinia, Italy.

“Zac and Michelle have great chemistry,” a source told Us at the time.

Their romance continued when they returned to the States. With what appeared to be an overnight bag in hand, Efron was seen leaving Rodriguez’s Los Angeles home the morning of July 20.

“I meant to behave,” Rodriguez posted a quote on Instagram the same day. “But there were too many other options.”

On Sunday she took to Instagram to post another notable quote: “I no longer have the energy for meaningless friendships, forced interactions or unneccessary conversations.”

“Ain’t that the truth,” she captioned the post, adding, “YOLO.”
