Retired NFL Offensive Tackle Michael Oher just revealed he has never been adopted by Leigh Anne and Sean Tuohy, he discovered he was in a conservatorship with them.
When they made Oher part of their family, the former NFL star was already 18 years of age. Naturally, the Tuohy family is disappointed with Michael Oher's accusations and they deny he didn't get a part of the money from 'The Blind Side' and the agreed upon earnings of the movie.

After that, Sandra Bullock led the production team with a stellar performance that got her an Oscar for acting. That was the first of two nominations she would get for acting at the Oscars but she only won for her role in 'The Blind Side'. We need to stress out that Sandra Bullock had nothing to do with this conservatorship deal within the Tuohy family.
Sandra Bullock is not having the best year
After losing her longtime boyfriend due to a disease, Sandra Bullock gets slapped with another difficult situation that proves this might not be her best year to date. Even though she is not guilty of anything regarding Michael Oher, online trolls won't stop coming at her and demanding for her to return this Academy Award. Some users are even pointing out that people need to start analyzing these feel-good stories a little further. Many of these stories were created to uplift the lead protagonist without revealing the possble skeletons hidden in the closet. Michael Oher had to find out through his lawyer that he was never adopted. Thus far, Oher still doesn't get any royalties from this successful film.
Amongst all the sports movies produced by Hollywood, 'The Blind Side' has to be amongst not only the most critically acclaimed but also one of the most successful. It's truly a shame to see that part of this story is not exactly accurate and we are just finding out about it. A film that has been out for 14 straight years and we are just getting to find out about this scandal. It is a movie with a $29 million budget that has won nearly $310 million over time. The entire world is waiting to see what Sandra Bullock responds after these demands for her to return her Academy Award.
