Julius Macon was a German artist and caricaturist. Originally from Munich, he studied Economics, but eventually chose a career in the arts. He was a contributor to the German satirical magazines Simplicissimus and Jugend in the 1920s, 1930s and 1940s. He also made illustrations for books by Jack London, Conrad Ferdinand Meyer and Otto Weckerlein. He was an artist for the local paper Tegernseer Tal from 1953.
