Kellan Lutz Reveals a 'Twilight' Spinoff He's Down to Star In, But He'd Be Playing a Different Character

Kellan Lutz hit it big playing Emmett Cullen in Twilight, and it looks like he would be down to return to the franchise for a spinoff. Only he’d be playing a different character his second time around!

The 38-year-old actor portrayed the strongest member of the family of vampires in all five films. He took to social media on Saturday (September 9) to share a doctored movie poster that imagined him filling another role.

In the poster, which a fan posted online and he reshared, Kellan‘s face was edited onto Charlie Swan’s body. If you forgot, Charlie was Bella Swan’s (Kristen Stewart) dad. He was played by Billy Burke in the original series.

Kellan said that he “could see” being cast as Charlie in 2023. He shared the photo on his Instagram story and re-shared it on his grid.

“Coming to a theatre near you,” he joked in the accompanying caption. Of course, a Twilight spinoff is in the works right now, but it won’t be coming the theaters.

The actor has kept up to date with Twilight over the years. During the pandemic he read the series’ companion book Midnight Sun and shared his thoughts with fans. He also revealed the Twilight co-star who he is “surprised” that he never dated.
