| Detailed instructions for the installation of RealPlayer (Version 8) |

Download the RealPlayer (REAL)

Save the file,
rp8-setup.exe, in a subdirectory on your hard disk
- After the file has been downloaded, quit
Netscape (or other browser).
- Double click on the filename rp8-setup.exe.
This will launch RealPlayer Setup

Click Accept (for the Terms and Conditions)
- Choose the folder where RealPlayer will be
installed.
- Select the case as shown below.
- Finish Setup will automatically install
RealPlayer on your PC.
- Upon completion of the installation, an
electronic registration window will appear. Enter any information which is
not already entered or correct any errors, then click Next.
- Select type of Internet connection: choose
T1 if on Ethernet segment, or choose appropriate modem speed if using a
modem and click Next.
- Select categories for your channel lineup if
desired and then click Next.
- RealNetworks configuration window is
optional. Click Finish after reviewing this screen.
- RealPlayer and your default browser will
both launch automatically, and you will be on the RealNetworks demo page in
your browser where you can test the installation of the software by clicking
on one of the demo sound clips.
- The installation is now complete.
