Larry the Cable Guy will perform Nov. 30 at the Weidner Center in Green Bay.

GREEN BAY - Heck ya, sleeveless plaid goes perfectly with the velvet seats at the Weidner Center.

Comedian Larry the Cable Guy will play the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay performing arts center at 8 p.m. Nov. 30.

Tickets are $59.50 and $39.50 and go on sale at 11 a.m. Friday at ticketstaronline.com, 800-895-0071 and the Resch Center box office.

Larry the Cable Guy has been a popular draw in Green Bay dating back to his Blue Collar Comedy days. His last visit was in 2015 for a joint show with Jeff Foxworthy at the Resch Center on their We've Been Thinking Tour.

Dan Whitney, whose comedic alter ego is known for his "Git-R-Done" catchphrase, is a Nebraska native but considers Wisconsin something of a second home. He has relatives from the state, spends time in the summers on the lakes up north and has tailgated outside Lambeau Field for Green Bay Packers games.

The Weidner performance is being presented by Outback Concerts and PMI Entertainment, which manages the Resch Center and Meyer Theatre. PMI is also bringing comedian Lewis Black to the Weidner at 7 p.m. Sept. 29.
