Let Liev Schreiber's New Look from The Bleeder Be a Lesson to Guys With Thinning Hair

Liev Schreiber is one of the more attractive humans on the planet. He’s tall, he’s got a great jawline, knows how to dress himself, and his grooming situation is on point. Also: wifey Naomi Watts. Usually, he's sporting a buzz or crew cut and some strong stubble—his beard-to-hair ratio is as the gods intended. So let the transformation he made for his recent film, The Bleeder, be a grooming lesson to all men: Being one of the more attractive humans on the planet is as much about know-how as it is about good genes.

Because with this handlebar mustache, the long sideburns, a tuft chest hair, and an unfortunate comb-over (or is it a comb-back, in this case?) he looks like an entirely different person. We’ve seen this kind of thing before, most recently with Matthew McConaughey while filming Gold. In both cases, the guys look 20 years and a thousand packs of cigarettes older than they actually are.

If you happen to find yourself in a similar situation to on-set Schreiber's look—in that your receding hairline is starting to make its way back behind your temples—follow the real Liev’s lead and go for a buzz cut. And never grow your sideburns that long.
