From Twilight… To ancient epic. Who could have predicted the dramatic direction muscle-bound actor Kellan Lutz would have taken his career.
Sure, we LOLd long and loud and hard when we heard he was set to take on the almighty role of Hercules in Hercules: The Legend Begins. And then we saw the trailer… In which he toplessly says very little, looks a bit moody and fights people with swords and giant drumsticks. And lo, we chuckled once more.
Russell Crowe, he ain't. But we applaud his effort all the same - it's a giant leap from arm-wrestling Kristen Stewart in a CGI forest after all.
The movie, which was executive-produced by the folks behind The Expendables, is set for release on 8 August 2013.
