From Pussy Galore’s roll around in the hay, to Grace Jones’s superhuman strength, nothing measures up to Halle’s 2002 appearance in Die Another Day. And now, at a time when the nation is desperately seeking nostalgic comforts and uplifting entertainment, the Oscar winning actress has recreated her iconic Bond Girl moment 18 years later.
Taking to Instagram whilst on holiday, Halle uploaded an image of herself posing in an orange bikini. “Never been a shady beach”, she captioned the image in reference to her on-screen appearance 18 years earlier where she seductively emerged from the sea.
You’d be fooled for thinking 18 years had slipped by though. With impeccable abs and toned legs on full show, Halle flaunted her incredible figure in the throwback snap looking almost identical to the original scene. Put simply, we’ll have whatever she’s having.
Fans of the star flocked to the comments section to praise ‘queen’ Halle. “Still phenomenally beautiful,” wrote one user, whilst another hailed “54 is the new...24.” Another wrote: “orange never looked so good.” Here, here.

Halle has credited her beach body to intense workouts with her trainer, Peter Lee Thomas. Speaking to Women’s Health, she said: “Usually, I'll do circuits of five or six exercises and churn through one after another, going as hard as I can for a set amount of time.” During lockdown, she said she and Peter would train for up to 90 minutes a day with Halle regularly posting Phit Talks and Fitness Friday inspiration to her Instagram page.
