And Hugh Jackman put his impressively sculpted physique on display while frollicking on Bondi Beach in Sydney on Friday with his 12-year-old son Oscar.
The Prestige hunk, who turns 44 next month, did not look too far off from his famed mutant character Wolverine whilst walking on the sandy beach in his black swim trunks.

Jackman is known to transform his enviable body based on the role he takes on.

According to Total Film magazine, he consumed 'nothing but water' for 36 hours to prepare to play escaped prisoner 24601 Jean Valjean in the big-screen musical adaption of Les Miserables, released Christmas Day.
But then he had to pack on the pounds and regain his six-pack in order to then reprise his character Logan for The Wolverine.
The action flick, which is scheduled for release is the summer of 2013, is a direct sequel to the 2009 film X-Men Origins: Wolverine.

The latest film is based on the comic book by Chris Claremont and Frank Miller and sees Hugh's character travel to Japan to train with a samurai fighter.
Hugh tweeted of his recent diet: '1 thing I've learned on this wolverine - don't be afraid of "good" fats: avocados, hummus, almonds. Am adding 2 meals& am leaner than ever.'
Beginning next year, the handsome actor will begin production on Prisoners alongside Melissa Leo and rumoured co-star Jake Gyllenhaal.
