WET is a video game developed by Behaviour Interactive and published by Bethesda Softworks in 2009. The game is an acrobatic shooter starring a female heroine named Rubi Malone in a grindhouse inspired setting.

I joined the project as the Lead UI Designer. I was provided with a bunch of concept illustrations of game characters and asked to turn them into menu interface for the game. The UI of Wet was run by two Art Directors with very different concepts which was challenging at times.

The menus and HUD were heavly animated using Flash and integrated using Scaleform 2.

This is one of my early HUD concepts for the game.
There were over dozed concepts and designs created for the HUD through the production.
This is one of the concepts I was asked to visualize for the HUD Multiplier inspired by burning film.
Although this concept was high on the whish list for implementation, due to schedule and limited tech we were not able to go ahead with it.
This was my final HUD design, still to a degree inspired by 'effects' on a film negative, the design was more abstracted and simplified from the orginal concept. It was a very heavly animated HUD with overlays and transitions.
