Let’s face it. No other guy epitomized the 1990s slacker vibe like Daria’s Trent Lane. He was the cool older brother of Daria’s best friend Jane, and we all rooted for him and Daria to get together. He had a cool tribal tattoo, played in and wrote all the music for his band Mystik Spiral, and had a voice that made any observation he made sound introspective. He was pretty deep. (Kind of.) Yes, he’s a cartoon, but, hey, cartoon guys can be attractive too.
