Remedy Entertainment has been rolling out various Alan Wake 2 patches across PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox. Here's what these patches do.
Following the game's global (digital) launch last week, developer Remedy has released some patches that address bugs across all platforms. While we did know that these updates were deployed, no patch notes were shared - until now. On the official Alan Wake 2 website, Remedy has now provided details about these platform-specific patches. In addition, on Twitter, Remedy's Thomas Puha has released additional info on a new Xbox patch that went live an hour ago. Patch notes for this latest Xbox patch aren't included on the game's website just yet.

The latest Alan Wake 2 patch on Xbox (version 1.0.0.7) brings parity between the different platforms and includes bug fixes and localization fixes. According to Puha, this latest update doesn't fix the occasional audio issues on Xbox, but the team is aware of these and is currently working on a fix. "It does not", Puha writes on Twitter. "It's Monday. Game came out on Friday, so we need a bit of time to nail down the audio issue's root cause. We are on it."
Although not directly mentioned in the notes, the latest patches address a bug with an achievement when acquiring all weapons.

As for the rest of the patches that have been rolled out on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S - these mostly include localization fixes and bug fixes, although on Xbox, there are several fixes for visual and UI-related issues. We highly suggest checking the official release notes for these updates here.
