German Tourist Helps Rescue Thai Man From Drowning on Pattaya Beach

Pattaya –

A German tourist helped to rescue a Thai man from drowning on Pattaya Beach.

The Sawang Boriboon Pattaya Rescue Team was notified of the incident at 3:20 P.M. on Saturday (April 29th) on Central Pattaya Beach.

They and the Pattaya News arrived at the scene to find an unidentified Thai man who was pulled up from the water by beach lifeguards. He was rushed to a nearby hospital for medical assistance.

The Pattaya Beach lifeguard Mr. Thongchai Teangcharoen told the Phuket Express that there was a German tourist identified only as Mr. MARTIN, 53, who shouted out loud that a man was unconscious in the sea, bringing the notice of lifeguards nearby. Beach lifeguards rushed into the water to pull him up before immediately providing him first aid.

The man was believed to be a homeless man, added Pattaya rescue workers to reporters, but it was unclear why he had been in the water.
