3 Selfie Spots When Passing Through Tepic

When you come to the beautiful port of San Blas by road, you probably have to cross the capital of our  Nayarit, if you have never been to Tepic, here we leave you some iconic places for your selfies.

1) The Main Square

Despite being close to reaching half a million inhabitants, Tepic preserves the tranquility of small provincial towns, surrounded by green mountains and a constant cane aroma; downtown, you can visit the Cathedral, the interesting Museum of the Five Peoples and the Plaza de Armas, among other attractions.

2) La Cruz Mountain Lookout

Indeed, the best place to observe all the beauty and extension of Nayarit capital, is the top of this mountain, where you will find a huge cross. As you go up, you can appreciate the diversity of landscapes surrounding Tepic, the Sierra de San Juan, the Sangangüey volcano and the gorgeous Matatipac Valley.

3) The Regional Museum of Nayarit

It is not surprising that in the capital of one of the states with more own history and traditions, the Regional Museum is an almost obligatory stop. It is enough to soak up a bit of the culture inherited by the five original indigenous peoples, to get hooked and get on track to the Mexicanity Route up to Mexcaltitán Island.

After exploring this beautiful city and savoring a typical dish, you will be ready to continue your adventure to the magical port of San Blas, which is less than an hour from Tepic.
