Naruto Shippuden Season 1 Summary(Gaara’s Capture)
We all were crazy over Naruto series which was visualization of awesomeness.But then Naruto Shippuden came poppin’ up which was epitome of fascination beyond the universe. Well then, I could go on forever saying how much Naruto is adored by me and has been a prodigious source of inspiration and encouragement in my life but don’t worry , I ain’t gonna do that. And so Come on y’all , let’s go straight to the summary.
Disclaimer : It’s a detailed summary and if you are into the suspense and such stuff, this is a spoiler. So read this only if you want to know the story-line.
Episode 1:
Naruto Shippuden opens with a mysterious scene leaving the viewers confused at the beginning. Naruto and Sakura with two other unknown guys(later we come to know that they are Sai and Yamato) , finally meet Sasuke after a long time. But they couldn’t relish their reunion as Sasuke is still immersed in the shadow of darkness. Naruto asks Sasuke that if bonds really meant nothing to him then why he didn’t kill him when he had a chance. Sasuke replies that it’s solely because he wants to awaken his Mangekyo Sharingan leaving Naruto and others in distress. And then Sasuke approaches Naruto with a sword stating he will kill him this time.
Then suddenly Naruto is seen with Nine Tails who is asking him to break the seal and if he does he’ll give him his power. But then Sasuke suddenly comes to that place stating he finally understands where Naruto gets all his power and then crushes the Nine Tails. And hence this scene ends just like that.
The it finally begins with Konohamaru and his gang doing mischievous stuffs in the Hidden Leaf village.They get reminded of how much they miss Naruto and also curious that how strong he’s become in the past three years. This ain’t the case only with them because everyone in the village are having the same emotions as well. Then Naruto finally returns and feels nostalgic. He’s happy to see all his comrades and he’s curious about them too. And this episode ends with a tinch of humor in which Sakura feels that Naruto matured not only physically but also mentally , which Naruto breaks in an instant.
Episode 2:
In the the opening of second episode Naruto meets Shikamaru and Temari. First he initially thinks that the opponent that he’s going to fight is them but then realizes it’s Kakashi who is head over heels over the book Jiraiya gave him. Later all of them are dismissed from the office. While on walk with them Naruto realizes that all of his classmates except him have become Chunin and Shikamaru in fact became in charge of Chunin exams. And moreover some of them have become Jonin as well. And most importantly Gaara has become Kazekage of Hidden Sand leaving Naruto frustrated and happy for them at the same time. But still Naruto’s faith and determination in becoming the Hokage hasn’t reduced even a bit. Meanwhile Jiraya meets Kakashi and they both talk about Naruto and he tells him about the recent suspicious activities undergone by an organization called Akatsuki and that they might aim for capturing Naruto to get the Nine Tails at any time. Mean while in Hidden Sand too they talk about this matter which was initiated by Yura(who later turns out to be Akatsuki spy) and are concerned with strengthening the security. And after that we can see two Akatsuki members walking towards Hidden Sand in order to capture Gaara. Meanwhile in Leaf Kakashi gives his students the “bell task” again and says that it ain’t going to as simple as it was the last time. And that my friends is how the second episode ends.
Episode 3:
In this episode, Naruto and Sakura vs Kakashi continues and the two mysterious Akatsuki members enter the Hidden Sand without any slightest effort with the help of Yura. And as soon as they infiltrate , Sasori without any slightest hesitation makes his move to plot attack from the above with his artistic form aiming to capture Gaara. While in the Leaf, Kakashi reminds his students that even though, they have become strong, they still have a long way to go. And this episode ends, when Deidara finally encounters the Kazhekage.
Episode 4:
The Kazhekage being exceptionally good, noticed the strange activities of the intruder and was ready for the unexpected battle in an instant. He also realized that the main aim of the intruder was himself, being the one tailed jinchurichi. But even in battle, Gaara assures the safety of the citizen and is determined to defeat the intruder. Since this akatsuki attack was sudden, the villagers couldn’t quite understand the situation in a trice. Deidara didn’t expect Gaara to be quite powerful and is amazed by his strength. While in the Leaf, Sakura and Naruto finally perceive a weakness of Kakashi in order to defeat him.And finally in Sand , the Kazhekage puts Deirara in Sand prison and hence the 4th episode ends leaving us in wonder.
Episode 5:
Well, the last episode seemed like a good news when Gaara encapsulated Deidara inside his Sand prison, but “BOOM” that bastard breaks it and escapes leaving others disappointed. But then again, Gaara does his best to encapsulate him within his sand prison again and let’s see what comes next. On the other hand in the Leaf, Sakura and Naruto successfully defeat Kakashi with the help of a silly book. Tsunade congratulates them and assigns them as “Team Kakashi”.Meanwhile Gaara manages to crush Deidara’s one arm but the fight continues driving Sasori out of patience. Meanwhile the villagers sense that the intruder is a member of Akatsuki and a strong opponent and so they fear if Gaara could go out of control unleashing Shukaku the one tail. But Kankuru assures that Gaara would not let his power harm the village at any cost since he cares for the village so much. And eventually they pledge to give their all to support Gaara. But unfortunately Deidara drops a doll which is modeled from decoying clay that has powerful chakra aiming the village. The doll explodes. Village goes “BOOM”. On the otherside, Jiraya informs Kakashi that he’s going to head out of the village to gather information about Akatsuki and stuff.
Episode 6:
Naruto goes to his favorite Ramen shop after a long time and then again meets Iruka Sensei after ages. They both are pleased to see Naruto.In Hidden Sand, Deidara’s big plan fails as Gaara protects the village with huge sand shield.However Gaara’s a bit exhausted by the use of enormous power.Deidara takes this chance and manages to get his weapon closer to Gaara and explode. However the Kazhekage’s shield can’t be broken that easily but it weakens.But Deidara mixes Gaara’s sand with his bomb clay increasing Gaara’s chance of being caught.In the Leaf, Iruka gets so nostalgic about Naruto. However Naruto regrets of still being only a genin.But Iruka consoles that he got training from legendary Sanin.In the Sand, everything goes according to Deidara’s plan and he succeeds in bring down and capturing Gaara.
Episode 7:
The Sand starts panicking the moment Gaara is captured.They try every possible mechanisms to defend Gaara but it all seemed useless. Kankuru , Gaara’s older brother, goes after Gaara with rage.He reaches the village front gate to see all the Shinobis , dead. Kankuru gets a bad feeling that there could have been a traitor from the Hidden Sand. But to his dismay, there is additional trap as well in the front entrance which makes Kankuru further mad. But it doesn’t stop him to pursue his further quest to go after Gaara however dangerous it seems. The Sand sends the message of emergency to the Leaf.And eventually Kankuru catches up with the Akatsuki and is surprised to see the unexpected .Meanwhile Naruto goes back to his old room and assures himself that he will bring Sasuke back to the village and on next day, Team Kakashi gets assigned on a mission after ages.
Episode 8:
Sasori doesn’t wants to halt time for Akatsuki and hence tells Deidara to leave with Gaara. And hence two puppeteers start fighting with one another. Naruto gets disappointed when he was appointed with C-rank mission.Just then, the Hokage receives the emergency message sent by the Sand.And somehow, team Kakashi is assigned the mission of bringing back Gaara.Kankuru is suprised by Sasori’s puppet skills and later he learns that he is the “Sasori of the Red Sand”. Sasori easily defeats Kankuru and injects poison into him and takes his leave.
