Troyer, 46, was taken to the hospital after falling ill during a Saturday appearance at the Heart of Texas Comic Con in Waco, according to THR. However, in a video posted late Saturday, the actor assured his fans that all was well. “I’m sure you guys have heard some news that I went to the hospital,” the actor says. “But I just want to reassure you and let everyone know that I am fine. “I was there for maybe a couple hours, did some tests, and now I’m here at the hotel and I plan on signing again tomorrow.” Troyer is best known as the dastardly clone “Mini-Me,” in Mike Myers‘ Austin Powers series. He also appeared in Myers’ 2008 comedy The Love Guru.
