Kellan Lutz and his wife are looking toward the future following their loss.
The “Twilight” star, 34, and Brittany Gonzales, 31, lost their unborn child when Gonzales was nearly seven months pregnant, and the couple nows says they want to “try again” when the time is right.
“@brittanylynnlutz you have been unbelievable during this hard past month! So grateful for you! I wanted to give a shout out to you all for all your love and support as we lost our baby girl who became stillborn at 6.5 months,” Lutz captioned an Instagram photo of the numerous bouquets of flowers they received.
He added, “We can’t wait to try again when the time is right God willing,” before quoting a Bible verse from the Book of Ecclesiastes.
Gonzales announced in early February that her baby was stillborn.
“I don’t know why it happened the way it did, but part of me finds so much peace knowing you never experienced pain or heartache and never will,” she wrote on social media. “You’re in the arms of Jesus now and one day we will get to meet you for real. Until I see you in heaven… your mommy loves you so much. 💔”
She later called the loss the “hardest season” of her life.
