The Descent
The feeling of claustrophobia that sticks with you in this movie is almost unbearable. I donât know if I could watch it again.
The Exorcist
I love this film because itâs timeless. Itâs just as scary now as it was when it was first released. Some of the images from this movie are almost burned into my head.
Jaws
A wonderful example of âless is moreâ. I love how they create such dread and tension without really showing you the monster. So creative and effective⦠and so very scary.
Silence Of The Lambs
Anthony Hopkins was exceptional in this movie. He has such presence and he is so terrifying, so dangerous, that I feel afraid of him even in the safety of my living room.
Candyman
This movie terrified me as a child but I would force my best friend Brittney to watch it with me. Tony Todd is so frightening and the world of the movie is so dark and gritty, it gets me every time.
Paranormal Activity 3 is released on DVD and Blu-ray on Monday.
