The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. The only downside is the lunch break they take, every afternoon.

TLDR: Do not go to this place and avoid using them as your mail provider if at all possible. From the actual delivery side to the employees working inside, it's all bad.
Man, there's so much awfulness about this place that this is going to have to be long review. I've reported this place on the USPS website and called the 800 number about the location, the manager, and one particular employee.
Location itself:
I don't judge this place based off of its location but it is worth mentioning. Prepare for a rather rotund, shirtless with suspenders, racist, old dude that lives across the street to make loud comments to and about you while you're there, prepare to see cops patrolling the area and telling you to hold your purse and lock your doors while you're there, prepare to destroy your car trying to get out of the parking lot, and prepare for crackheads to stop you repeatedly.
Actual services:
I've lived at my current location for around three years and had 6 different mailpersons. The last one stopped delivering my mail only because I filed two separate complaints about her (more on that later) and the apparent "solution" was to just give her a different route.
The hours on the door aren't "hours of operation" as much as they are approximations. Close at 4? Show up at 3 and they very well might be closed. If you do manage to catch it open be prepared for transparent rudeness (I've never had a friendlier greeting than *long, exasperated sigh and exhale* "whachoo want?". More often than not you do all the talking. Unless of course you're their friend/relative. In which case, prepare for a long, loud conversation despite the line out the door.
My mail runs anywhere from 9AM to 9PM at best. Sometimes they simply skip your house and sometimes, when the stars are aligned just right and fate gets a twinkle in its eye, you get to see them twice in one day because they just straight up "forgot" to do half of the street. Outgoing mail has piled up before despite the numerous calls to the location from about a blocks worth of people complaining.
For YEARS I've been getting the wrong mail. I get my neighbors mail about twice a week but that's a simple mistake and I don't mind that one. The ones that are noteworthy however, are when I get other peoples mail who's names sound/read nothing like mine, live on a completely different street and don't even share a similar house number. Not sure how that happens but writing "DOES NOT LIVE HERE/WRONG ADDRESS" on the mail and placing it in the outgoing slot, handing the courier the mail and saying the same and physically going to the location and giving it to them doesn't seem to work.
The major problems:
The reason I've made multiple complaints about this place/its employees is because twice now I've had my mail stolen by my old courier. It is possible that somehow, something happened other than my stuff getting stolen but in both instances I've tracked my packages, they go out for delivery and then never show up (the first time I was home all day with the door open and the second time both me and my girlfriend were home all day) or get marked as delivered.
First time: Called and gave the tracking number. Was told it got marked out for delivery, it wasn't delivered, and it wasn't marked "delivered". Transferred to the manager and asked how this could happen. His reply was "Dunno. We get so many packages around this time {It was either July or August. Not months known for their high influx of mail} that it's hard to keep track of them". Yup. The person who's job it is to keep track of packages, couldn't keep track of it and that was that. No apology or anything. Filed a complaint against my courier and the manager on the website and left it at that.
Second time: Similar deal. Was marked out for delivery and just never showed up. I called again and talked to the manager again. I went straight to "Your employee did it again. She's fired right?" and was told to call back the next day so he could investigate. Called back and was told that apparently "out for delivery" doesn't necessarily mean out for delivery. Sometimes a courier will scan them as out before their route so they don't have to do it later. Which means it got lost. Same deal with the "delivered" thing. So, basically, there's absolutely no way whatsoever of knowing what happens to your packages/mail according to the U.S.P.S. of Innis Ave. He apologized for the "mix up" and said he'd talk to the employee about being more careful in the future, told me to have a good day, and hung up. I immediately filed another complaint against the same two people and a separate one about this location specifically. I called the manager back, let him know and he said he'd take her off the route to "avoid any further complications".
So far nothing has been done, as far as I can tell it's the same manager, and she's still doing routes. Just not mine.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Khadijah M.Columbus, OH3923Jul 11, 2019
All they do is lose your items and it comes up a few days later but they're nearly impossible to get in touch with over the phone. This is the 3rd time an item has said delivered and it's missing. Wtf

I know this is in kind of a run down part of town, but this is my local post office and the line always moves fast and service is always extremely helpful and friendly. I've probably been to at least 5 other post offices in town in places like Grandview, Dublin, and around Columbus, and this one seems to have the best staff by far.
