US Post Office

Comically bad. The other reviews already covered it all. Pack snacks, water, a book, change of clothes. You will wait in a long, slow line at all times. Self serve machine will be out of service most of the time. There will be one employee working at all times.

Good experience here. Had to wait in line a bit but there were two employees working the counter.

This is not my usual post office but I was out running errands and needed to drop off some cards. This branch is located at 1822 Henderson Rd and sits back off the road in a strip mall.

Plenty of parking, and easy in and out. There was a line but it only took under 10 mins and it is the holiday with everyone mailing packages. There were two employees working the counter and were working at a good pace. The employee I worked with was friendly and courteous and checked a couple of cards for weight for me as extra postage was required.

No issues here at all, good service, and friendly employees.

This is hands down the worst office in the city mabye the US. I have had a post box there for over 15 years. The past few years the employees there have been rude, unprofessional and lazy. I pay for a service to have my mail delivered everyday that the mail is delivered. This post office only puts out the post box mail 75% of the time. This is outrageous people with post boxes many have businesses and are waitin on impoertant and timely delivery. It is unexcusable the business parctices and work ethic at this office. It has now been going on a long time. Time to move offices much to my inconvenience.

This location has been found closed well before posted closing time, outer doors locked after hours when the lobby should remain open, and the interior parcel drop full to capacity or not functioning properly to receive incoming packages. The workers inside are often rude, condescending, and unhurried at the service counter.

What, in all seriousness, is going on here?

I usually go to the USPS over in Beechwold, but the parking there is just awful, and I knew it would be worse during the holidays. The Henderson location is set back in a strip mall with plenty of parking. It's a little run down inside and expectedly understaffed. They have kept up the plexiglass dividers between the staff and customers (understandable) but my voice doesn't carry well and I felt like I had to shout at the poor lady helping me. Since I came during the holidays there was a fairly long line, but, again, what can you expect in December?

cashier said they close at 6 and refused to ship my package even though the door google apple maps and every source says they close at 6:30 I have been there after 6:30 in the past few months myself even though she claims they close at 6 for over a year. Not the first time I've had to deal with this location being closed way before their posted closing time.

Postal so bad, driver for 43220 North of Lane Rd near Riverside can't get mail to correct house most days, we all meet and exchange weekly. ALSO for usps contracted Amazon last mile delivery work she drops box on ground/curb "near" mailbox when rule is IN mailbox or at front door (per Amazon/USPS/common sense). UPDATE 10/22. Spoke to neighbors and THEY all get mail weekly for wrong addresses, they say they used to complain but it did not help so now they just walk to correct house or write on front of mis delivered mail. That is kind but then the core issue of delivering confidential mail to correct address never resolves. I called PO chain of command, they were not caring much.

I have been calling this post office for 45 minutes and no one answers. I've been calling repeatedly to let them know that they're sending the wrong mail to our apartment. It's important paperwork and we brought it in to let them know but they still do it. The phone rings so long it loses connection and then hangs up. So I call again and again and same thing. It's absolutely ridiculous.

Lost 2 packages which were things I sold online. Lost the item and money despite purchasing insurance.
