Skunk Anansie Unveil Live Version of ‘Charlie Big Potato’

Skunk Anansie will release their new live album 25LIVE@25 on January 25th, 2019. The record highlights the band’s 25 year span in the music industry with a career that has launched them into the category of UK music royalty.

The group have also unveiled the live version of ‘Charlie Big Potato’ which was originally featured on their 1999 LP ‘Post Orgasmic Chill’. The song follows Skunk Anansie’s previous live track release of their song ‘Weak’.

Touching on ‘Charlie Big Potato’, guitarist Martin ‘Ace’ Kent stated:

“It’s always been a huge live favourite with our audience, where it will either smash the gates open at the start of a set or destroy the stage at the end. It’s a song that seems to take on many elements of the band musically, emotionally and lyrically. ‘Charlie’ sums up a lot of our attributes in one go. It’s also probably the one I am most proud of.”

25LIVE@25 will get releases on Republic Of Music.
