Aly Khan, known by his full title Prince Ali Solomone Aga Khan was the son of Aga Khan III, the head of the Ismaili Muslims. Aly was a wealthy international playboy who served as a Pakistani diplomat to the United Nations but is best known in California for being married to Rita Hayward from 1949-1953.
Her long red tresses falling on a powder blue dress, Rita Hayworth poses for photographers at her Beverly Hills Hotel bungalow. Hayworth held a press interview to announce her definite decision to divorce Price Aly Khan, stating she will go to Reno next week to sue for divorce. After the press conference was over, she thanked the newsmen for attending. Photograph dated July 7, 1951.
