The most curated, hand-tested, English-friendly romset for the ColecoVision game console


The ColecoVision was an odd computer gaming system with 14 button controllers and several ill-fated attachments. It was most popular for its great arcade ports.

Surprisingly, they came out with an expansion device that let anyone play the entire library of Atari 2600 games on their device, which made for a huge library! However, they didn't have Atari's permission for that... After court settled, Atari then owned ColecoVision patents and royalties.

Special items included:
Unreleased prototypes and these extras:

"Adam's Musicbox Demo," "Castelo," "ColecoVision Monitor Test," "Facemaker," "Final Test Cartridge," "Super Action Controller Tester, and "Super Sketch: Sketch Master."

None of these extras are "games" in the typical sense - They contain multimedia programs and ColecoVision applications that I believe are important to preserve. If you're only after the actual games in this set, feel free to delete those titles named above.

Items removed:
Non-working dumps, duplicates, prototypes of games that eventually saw a release, and modern homebrew games.

Release notes:
This is a re-work of my previous ColecoVision set, which I did a couple years back. It was a bit messy and quite a few new dumps have been completed since then. I've hand-tested these new additions, added 6 more titles overall, upgraded several others to newer revisions, and organized the files cleaner than last time.

The folders in this collection organize the games alphabetically.

Subject: Donkey Kong Rev 1.1?
I could not find any information on the released versions of Donkey Kong for the ColecoVision. I can find some dumps with 2 versions; Donkey Kong and Donkey Kong Rev 1.1 or v1.1.
Could anyone point me to the technical or notable differences?

Subject: Great Collection , Brings back a lot of nostalgia
Brings back so much nostalgia from when I was a kid , I have a huge box of carts for the colecovision still from when i was a kid, I remember and still have an Atari 2600 Attachment and the rollerball attachment for the main system, Been looking for a way to have everything in one place , This is really gonna help a lot with doing that
